Bare patches in your lawn may occur for a variety of reasons, for example heavy traffic and excessive shading.

To regenerate bare patches, a light cultivation to reduce compaction and eliminate weeds before you start is recommended. If your lawn type can be established from seed then you may be able to reseed the bare patches.

If you have Couch, Kikuyu or Buffalo lawn you may take runners from the healthy lawn areas and plant them in the bare patches. If the bare patch is large and you need an instant cover then you will be required to order new turf and have it laid accordingly.
